@calculsoberic I think I have a solution to xcb not changing window size on wayland. I only kinda understand, but it seems there are defaults different on (some)wayland that start maximized, this may be more complicated, but the end result.
T here are no direct xcb calls to fix this, but there are indirect dicking with atoms and sub? messages to undo the sillyness. I hope to get enough time to fix, but now I know/suspect it is fixable.

3D print yourself some H2 and O2 generators, then go out behind the lab and start melting rocks, is what I say! (Where's my shipment of fine stainless steel wool?!) remember to us flashback arrestors just in case the steel wool separated by felt lets some of the wrong gas through. #OrYouAreNotMe

@calculsoberic do you know of a minimal as close to the silicon mastodon client? I heard someone wrote a DOS version? I have 0 experience with federated stuff but if I can steal the stuff at socket layer I should be able to use my thin client to do the gui/io. FINALLY got the framerate to fast(own fault)

I was talking to my #2 in KCO who just had extensions put on his lower string (usually a low E on the double bass) He was saying that drops by a 3rd so he can get down to a C (octave below a cello) I have 5 strings and my lowest can get down to a B (2nd white note on the piano?) If I put an extension on I could get down to a G? F#? anyway lower than a piano. But it wouldn't be worth it, I only get to play down to a C once in a while, don't think I've ever been down to a B in perf. #SymSat

The strings on a double bass pull about 200lbs on the tailpiece and about 120?lbs on the bridge, for my 5 string it's more like 300lbs and 150lbs (very rough math) #BaroqueSun
