I've taken up cycling 2-3 years ago and it has completely changed my life. I went from an obese (115 kg) couch potato to an active, relatively fit dude (73 kg). I've always been on the nerdy side and I've never really been interested in sports but let me tell you, there is no sport nerdier than cycling. It's got graphs and numbers and statistics and shit. You can learn a lot about physics, materials like aluminium, steel, titanium, carbon fibre, aerodynamics, etc. It also keeps you good health. Until you get hit by a truck and fucking die, that is. But let's hope it doesn't come to that. :)
We've had plenty of questions about what people miss from reddit that Lemmy had, or what they hope doesn't come to Lemmy from reddit in future, but do you miss from the earlier days, before reddit that you would like to come back?
What it says on the tin, really. I think this is going to be an issue when they get around to the smaller communities... It's going to suck majorly, as most people's default will remain with reddit for community discussion like this...
A Samsung Galaxy A52! I used to be one of them rooty-tooty custom ROM boys, but I finally gave up when all of my banking apps started detecting Magisk. Now I use the stock OneUI firmware with a custom ad-blocking DNS (dns.adguard.com) and uBlock Origin in Firefox. I'm still receiving updates, the software is still as smooth as it was when I first got it. Battery life is slowly deteriorating though. The bloat is minimal. Not gonna lie, I've come to love OneUI more than the old ROMs I was using (big fan of Resurrection Remix), it's full of usability-improving features that just make life easier. I was skeptical at first because I absolutely hated the old TouchWiz interface, but now I prefer it to the stock Android experience.
Slightly annoyed (lemmy.world)
I found this loaf in a synagogue's courtyard last December. Didn't seem seem to be in a good mood...
What is your current passion?
What are you currently passionate about it interested in? What are some cool things about that thing, or interesting stuff that you've learned?...
What do miss from pre-Reddit?

So how long until they kick legacy mods from r/startrek and reopen?
