@jon sadly every time i was there we had a rented car (the port vieux hotel has a generous parking and the office is beyond the highway)

@DiegoBeghin @jon Sophia Antipolis is our other office in the location (well, third, or something) but I was lucky enough not to ever have to go there

also it's not like anything is forcing me to do the car thing, but extra hotel nights just because i'd want to take transit and couldn't make it to the (not superbly connected in my opinion) marseille airport on the same day the meetings begin/start would be frowned upon

@DiegoBeghin @jon i mean it already starts with the fact that the car rental is closer to the airport terminal than the shuttle bus to the "airport" train station, which is not even that far (it's probably less walk than you have to do from the gate to the rer b at cdg in total distance), just really unreachable on foot because of how the place looks like

@DiegoBeghin @jon then, weirdly, if you go on the A7 and forget to get off it, you suddenly end up just in front of the main train station, which is quite bizzare

@DiegoBeghin @jon and it's not even like you are not allowed to do wasteful things for fun, my bossbro really loves to get off the highway in aubagne and drive on the old windy road next to it and that's of course fine because it only wastes maybe 30 minutes

i love how native linux war thunder client has no fps limiter so it gives me ~150-200 fps at 4k, which is like lovely, except useless at my 60hz display and paid for in electricity
