I’d love for lemmy to take off as a reddit replacement but it has some hurdles to overcome.
My experience as an ex-redditor thats been here for a few hours, its still super confusing figuring out how to subscribe to subscommunities. I’m getting the hang of it but I’m willing to do that. Many newcomers are gonna see its not a click to subscribe type situation and close the tab instead. Until its user friendly, its not going to gain the amount of traction to be a replacement
