“The skin is semi-permeable, making them susceptible to dehydration, so they either live in moist places or have special adaptations to deal with dry habitats. Frogs produce a wide range of vocalizations, particularly in their breeding season, and exhibit many different kinds of complex behaviors to attract mates, to fend off predators and to generally survive.”
I just want an option to “hide downvoted posts” like reddit had… I’m tired of seeing the instance-stickied announcements hang around forever in my feed
Idk why I always wake up with either my sides or neck or smth hurting when I wake up but that didn’t happen while I stayed at a hotel. It’s not like I’m an old broken man who should be waking up expecting this.
Price aside, just don’t do what I did: use an old mattress way past its usable life (e.g. like 10 years… it was creaking).
I started having back pain. And once I got a new one, I immediately felt better.
I’m very happy with my purchase and it wasn’t even that expensive. It’s one of those internet “mattress in a box” ones. I paid ~$300 back in 2019, though it looks like it goes for $420 now. Brand is Lucid on Amazon. It’s a hybrid style: it has both pocketed / encased coils like a traditional mattress, and layers of memory foam and latex on top.
Right. At-will essentially means both you the employee, and the employer, can, at any time for any reason or no reason, end the employment
It’s sort of a double-edged sword. On the one hand, you the employee are not obligated to submit a notice period or do anything special to quit, which is great. On the other hand, employers can and often will drop people with zero warning.
Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a mammoth-sized update, titled Update 2.0, tomorrow, September 21, and it promises to be a bit of a game changer. A police revamp, a progression overhaul, a new cybernetics system, vehicular combat, DLSS 3.5—it's vast, and thankfully separate from the Phantom Liberty expansion due next week, so you'll...
Can’t just be me, can it? Currently 0 for 3 on interviews because I can’t seem to get past the technical interview/test. Usually because of some crazy complicated algorithm question that’s never been relevant to anything I’ve ever had to do on the job in all my years coding....
Yep. LeetCode medium difficulty puzzles is the de facto / unofficial standard, and even if you’re a pretty good programmer, those are tough to do in a timed 45 minute thing with some stranger watching every character you type :-(

I’m glad they are listening to people’s conversations about the Quality mechanic. I wasn’t worried about it, but I’m still happy to see they listen to players.
I agree the Quality tier names are boring and un-thematic. The current names also give me flashbacks of grindy-MMO type games.

How do you deal with a existential crisis?
How to you come to terms with the fact that you will eventually not exist?...
Is an expensive mattress worth the money?

The only thing doing tech tests has taught me is that I'm too stupid to do the job I've been doing professionally for the better part of 2 decades.
