Habe mich letztlich für den Kindle Paperwhite entschieden. Wollte mich eigentlich nicht an Amazon binden, aber ich lese hauptsächlich englischsprachige Bücher, die bei Amazon wesentlich öfter im Angebot sind als bei der Konkurrenz. Bei den Tolinos war ich zudem nicht von der Software überzeugt. Jedes Mal wenn ich in der Buchhandlung ein Gerät zum Testen in der Hand hatte, hat sich die Software aufgehängt. Amazon bietet zudem seit kurzem auch die Möglichkeit epubs für den Kindle umzuwandeln. Gibt sehr gemischte Erfahrungsberichte darüber, wie gut oder schlecht das funktioniert. Ich hatte bisher damit kein Problem. Wenn dir die Onleihe wichtig ist, wäre der Kindle aber die falsche Entscheidung, da er mit diesem System nicht kompatibel ist.

Wissenssammlung auf dem PC habe ich früher total gerne mit OneNote gemacht. Leider gibt es keine Linux-Version und in der Cloud möchte ich es ohnehin nicht nutzen. Obsidian teste ich gerade, kann mich aber nicht wirklich damit anfreunden. Milanote wäre super, wenn nicht Cloud 🤷♀️
Ich glaube mein Problem ist, dass ich letztlich nach einem OneNote-Klon suche - einfach weil ich es so lange genutzt habe. Wenn dann die gewohnten Arbeitsabläufe nicht so funktionieren, ist irgendwie direkt die Ablehnung da. Also erstmal keine konkreten Fragen, aber vielleicht komme ich in Zukunft auf das Angebot zurück.
Und freut mich, dass ich einen guten Anstoß geben konnte mit dem BuJo. Vielleicht noch als Ergänzung: meins ist wirklich sehr einfach gehalten. Also nicht von den ganzen Pinterest-Versionen abschrecken lassen
I've dabbled with Linux over the years, first with Ubuntu in the early 2010s, then Elementary OS when that dropped, and a few years ago I really enjoyed how customizable the gui was with Xubuntu. I was able to make it look just like WIndows 2000 which was really cool....
You probably mean Gnome 3. Ubuntu then developed and used its own DE Unity for a while. They have since changed back to Gnome though. And Gnome has changed again with Gnome 40 and up.
