This looks really fun. Heard its super short though.

Will add Dranius to my list. Thanks for the review!

Haha, there is no need to rush through the games, specially something like TotK.

Take your time, and have fun!

Not a fan of either genre, but game doesn’t look too bad.

Ah cool. It’s a nice feeling when you finally finish a long game, even when you like it. But in this case you probably will be relieved 😀

It seems you’ll probably end Arkham Knight in couple of weeks max too. So, good luck with both!

Yeah, same here. I am preferring shorter games over long ones these days. Though my issue is I love (J)RPGs, so not much I can do about those.

This is actually a post from lemmy. I am not sure how it shows up in mastodon. It’s about Godzilla DLC in Dave The Diver. Here’s the link: lemmy.world/post/15745518

I haven’t read the reviews in details, but it seems to be getting some really good scores. So, great news for people like me, who never played the original.

Particular Problem with Rest Mode

So I’ve recently started to replay Watch_Dogs (digital version) on PS5 and oddly enough, it’s the only game that won’t suspend in rest mode. The console itself has to tell me it won’t keep the game open and it’ll close in 30 seconds. I’ve played both PS4/5 and use both digital and physical copies between my library....

Well, PS5 has made the feature so that it should work with older games too, but sometimes games are programmed in a way that it doesn’t work.

For instance, PS5 is compatible with all PS4 games, except for like 10 or 12 of them, and those game doesn’t have anything obviously unique that would cause the issue, but they are probably using some internal system that causes them to not work. Probably a same thing with AC Unity and Watch Dogs.

So, my original guess was since Watch Dogs is an old game, they are probably doing something that breaks the PS5’s suspend feature.

A quick search online shows that other people have the issue too.

  • One case suggests quitting to main menu and then going to rest mode works. Not the best solution since you have to save and quite the game, but at least you don’t have to load the game again.
  • Another site mentions that it was working with Watch Dogs, but then they started Assassin’s Creed Unity, which has issue with this feature, and after that Watch Dogs has stopped suspending too. No idea why Unity has the issue though, but that could be back to my original point. Old game, with some feature / bug breaking the feature.
