The benefit of use high-end cameras (like those from Arri) is that they usually have a higher range for ISO (light sensitivity) and aperture, which makes it easier to shoot without setting up lighting for every specific shot. Most people know this from smartphone cameras: Cheap ones struggle in low-light settings while better ones will still be able to produce decent pictures.

The original article that went with the picture spoke of “a new race of amazons” and calls the woman on the right, “Diana”, which may be a reference to Wonder Woman (AKA Diana, Princess of the Amazons).

I don’t want to contradict you, but…

But the most recent 10th-edition codex includes a point-of-view piece of lore from Calladayce Taurovalia Kesh, who uses she/her pronouns.

That codex was already published last summer. So it has already been lore for a while now, even though the misogynerds only took notice when GW tweeted about it.

But you shouldn’t retcon established lore (even if it is problematic) with a tweet.

That is not what happened: The change was already in the last edition of the codex from last year. Per the article…

The tweet only highlighted a change that had already been made.

That your experiences differ from those of the writer’s does not invalidate the writer’s viewpoint: They talk how tech has made their personal life more arduous by upending their established modes of doing things. That does not mean these new ways of doing things aren’t working for you.

Your differing viewpoints aren’t mutually exclusive and aren’t necessarily indicative that the writer is somehow inferior in skill to you.

It is the internal voice of the female-presenting person in the far left corner of the first picture. All of the text is essentially the internal monologue of the comic’s creator, MilkyTrickster. He retells his struggles with his looks, until the moment he realized that he doesn’t need to pass as a man in order to accept his own trans identity.
