We've confirmed with the city that although formal changes to the city's legal language are still pending, the vote will delay a safety improvement project on Main Street, between Central and Kendall Squares, that had previously been slated for installation this year.

We goofed: yesterday we reported that the City of Boston would host a kickoff meeting for its Columbia Road redesign, but we got the date wrong. The meeting is happening next Thursday, on May 2.
