I love all the cute moments between Nick and Charlie, it seems to be very faithful to the comics. It’ll be interesting to see what role Ben will play, that seems to be a bit more prominent than in the comics. And apparently there’ll be some drama between Tara and Darcy? Can’t wait for August 3rd!
I’m really happy for Charlie that his mother is understanding and willing to meet him halfway. That seems to be a big step for Jane too! And of course Nick and Charlie texting about what happened is just too cute.
That sounds intriguing. So this is basically a no-dig/no-till method of growing potatoes? Does it work with all varieties and when should they be “planted”? I’m very curious to try it for next year.
I really like it and I’m already using it to track my books. There are two things I don’t understand yet: how can I get recommendations, or books that are similar to other books? And what is a good way to find others to follow who have a similar taste in books?
Inderdaad.
Yes, it would be great if the tires could also be used longer and more often.
But I don’t get your point regarding logistics: this leads to 2 tire sets / driver that don’t need to be transported and produced, right? So it should be a good first step into reducing the impact of production and transportation.
“This means a reduction - from 13 to 11 - of the sets of dry tyres that each driver has available for the entire event, therefore decreasing the environmental impact generated by the production and transport of the tyres.” Seems like a good reason to me.
I appreciate your work on this community, sometimes it can feel a little daunting to reply. Keep up the good work, as kbin and Lemmy grow, so will this community I’m sure. And it sounds like you had a stressful week, so good for you that you can enjoy some of your hobbies and practice self-care. I think that’s one of the most important things we should strive to do: respect and love ourselves.
Thank you, that’s good advice. I’ve been improving at it slowly over the years, but it feels like babysteps. I’m now trying to learn to be proud of and happy with any small progress, that helps a bit. Also I try to focus more on the other person in conversations instead of on my own thoughts and sensations.
