I'd love a gaming NZ community. Timezones make it hard to play online with the rest of the world at a convenient time. I only have about 2 hours in the evening but would love to play online with like minded people.

Learn new things and get support. I can relate to your point 2, I've quit alcohol 5 years ago, couldn't have done it without SD. Also discovered live improving things like bidets because of Reddit. And I even made friends!
It's not about that 0.1%. It's about setting an example. US and China can otherwise say: we don't do anything because eg NZ doesn't do anything either.
I start to understand it better, thanks for the explanation. I've subscribed to other instances and can see the posts on the home page when I select Subscribed. However every time I go back to the home page it has reverted to Local. Is there any way to default to Subscribed?
