Hey @mia, I'm trying to host 0x0 on my own device
The initial page works (https://segfault.us.to), but it returns 500 any time I try to do anything
I usually use Caddy, so I have to run Nginx behind a reverse-proxy, but neither Caddy nor Nginx have any errors whenever the 500 happens
Any ideas?
There's someone I know who legitimately thinks that stock Masto is the best fedi software
(Ofc she also wants an iPhone so it's sorta par for the course for her)
Wait, how long has my .well-known been broken??
Multiple people who use Mastodon just followed me, because apparently they couldn't federate before
This...explains a lot
I think I've just DDoSed myself with this lol
With all of the instances sending follow requests/caching my posts, my server's CPU is struggling to catch up
Hey gays did you know that I can access my fedi instance on the school Chromebooks
Unrelated, but I can also host a webSSH client and connect to it on the school Chromebooks, allowing me to administrate my server
I am now going insane trying to host 0x0 on a subpath
(My school was thoroughly unsuccessful at removing distractions while in ISS)
Figured out in the shower why I should be using vectors instead of whatever the hell I'm currently doing
I don't fucking care though because what I'm currently doing works well enough
We're drawn to Light, because it denotes both warmth and clarity, and intrigued by the idea that "light" is a good value in software. Good software is "light" in the sense that it uses your resources efficiently, runs quickly, and can easily be reshaped as needed. Ubuntu represents a break with the bloatware of proprietary operating systems and an opportunity to delight to those who use computers for work and play. More and more of our communications are powered by light, and in future, our processing power will depend on our ability to work with light, too.
Visually, light is beautiful, light is ethereal, light brings clarity and comfort.
