that's https://github.com/feditext/feditext/issues/143 and i can work around it but other clients might not and it's definitely a Mastodon API break

@jo …do you have working MFM rendering for Mastodon clients? because the link in the above post wouldn't have rendered on Firefish at all, but i can see it just fine from Feditext

@jo my client is now breaking in ways i did not know were possible. if i find something concrete to report with the server, or want to try patching it myself, where should i send it?
