I think the hardest part of becoming more senior is letting people/groups make poor decisions even when you can prove they are poor before they start. Sometimes people just have to figure it out on their own. (Still drives me bonkers, but I'm trying to be less passive aggressive about it.)

I really don't get why some parents freak out about telling their kids about LGBTQ+ stuff.

We were reading a story about families. It had beautiful illustrations of families:
Some had one kid, some had many.
Some had grandparents and a kid.
Some had a mum and a dad, some had one parent.
Some had two mums, some had two dads.
Some had kids that didn't look like their parents.

My kid's reaction to this: "ok"

Kids don't give a fuck, they're still learning if unicorns exist. Calm down.
