The real YSK is of course in the comment. =) Thank you for expanding on this. It's always important to make sure you are prepared. You don't have time to google these things when the disaster is at hand. If you're not prepared when a fire breaks out you might panic and make dumb decisions. This goes for all stressful situations of course. Make sure you have some plan for common emergencies. That goes for medical emergencies as well as fires.

Especially since a grease fire is very hard to put out unless you smother it. Using an extinguisher on a grease fire is not a good idea.

I'm not really into Marvel anymore, but please continue posting. There are too few people here yet but diligence will help these places grow. It's like the mod of /r/disney said on Kbin. A subreddit of 500k people like Disney only generated a few dozen posts a day. It's difficult to start from scratch but we need people like you!

Jag har bott i min lägenhet i ungefär 5 år nu och har nästan inte sagt ett ord till mina grannar förutom ett bajsnödigt “Hej” när man möter dom i trappuppgången. Känns dock allt för sent att börja prata nu. Men det kanske är mer pinsamt om tanten under mig dör och ingen upptäcker det.

language_not_allowed on English sub

hello, I am curious as to why I occasionally get the language_not_allowed error when posting to certain sub's. its in English, and it wasn't offensive or not-allowed. (I promise!) I'm still trying to figure out the federated system so maybe I'm doing something wrong for all I know. Are others getting this error?...

I really need to get started with Geometry nodes and then simulation nodes. It seems to definitely be the next step. Not only in Blender but also in 3D over all. It seems like a valuable skill.

Other people have said the important parts. I'm not sure if you were on reddit for long. But if you think back to the early days of reddit it was not as stable as you might think now. The site was constantly down and there were many bugs. The user interface was still in development. Lemmy could be a diamond in the rough. Give it some sharpening and it will be a good place. I guess it's up to the users.

I have a library of add-ons. Some free and some paid. But to be frank, since they get reset with every blender update, I don't really need any of them. Especially the add-ons that take some time to set up. So the add-ons that I constantly use are the ones that are bundled with Blender.
