Checking out Lemmy and looking to get my reddit subs here. Can't deal with C-Suite greed ruining things any longer. Aside from our favorite companies and now reddit what other recent companies have you seen fall prey to short term gains?
Let's try to fill this sub and leave reddit for good. Because it didn't exist yet I also did create /c/linuxmasterrace@feddit.de. So if you are a former r/linuxmasterrace member feel free to join.
Right now the user count Lemmys is comparatively tiny when held up against reddit - but the user count isn't the thing that makes a social media site, it's the engagement...
