anyone who hates on tailwind needs to understand that you can't use it without also knowing css. it's also a useful tool for teams where not everyone knows css as well as you do. if you don't wanna use it, don't! but you're not gonna shame me for it that's silly.
i can't wait to do a job interview at a company that is all in on the AI-con and when they ask me a question about big O notation I'm just going to say "if you cared about efficiency you wouldn't be using AI"
it takes "courage" to not use words like "trans" and "nonbinary" in your os's pride wallpapers that are hidden near the bottom of a list where you clearly have trans and nonbinary-themed wallpapers.
@zicklepop San Francisco's poop coverage is maybe a touch above average for cities I've visited, but only so. Strangely, Amsterdam is another city where it's nearly impossible to find a bathroom, but instead of poop it's just covered in piss instead, which is worse really. So much public urination in that city ._.
Anyways, the worst thing about San Francisco is easily the asshole tech workers and startup culture stuff, otherwise it's a lovely city.
@zicklepop I'm under the impression that there's been an asshole flight in recent years, and a lot of them have since relocated to Seattle and Austin, so for all I know maybe San Francisco's mellowed out a little.
also someone tell cohost that just because a very low percentage of your users pay you some sort of money at all, that isn't "radically better" than "the industry." they are profitable, you are not. but tell me more about your investor's mental health issues, i guess.
cohost is so small and so impotent i don't want to write about it anymore. it's not worth the attention. i should start watching actual train crash footage instead of hate-watching a few techies eat it, but it's sooo cathartic.
