Yeah it's not new. It's honestly kind of irritating that that was the case, even if every single person contributing to those clouds were actually real people ; yet botters from more "favored" communities are unscathed.
It's great that the option exists for those that don't care about their digital footprint and also want to just passively contribute without "spending" a cent. Not for everyone for sure.

Total newb here, how does one collapse comment threads on the web browser version of kbin here? I've tried clicking around and don't see some UI element or anything to indicate how to do such an action.

OC Here's my final idea for a Kbin mascot, I call it the "Kbird" (K = Kakatuá), since someone shared a Fediverse flag resembling a pirate flag I thought a bird mascot would fit.
YSK that kbin.social is now federating, adding hundreds of communities and ~26k more users content
