Limitless_screaming, to world in White House says ‘it’s the right time’ for Israel to scale back Gaza war as fighting hits 100 days

I don’t know where your claim of Hamas was acting out of charity comes from

Social services wing

What do you think should have been the answer to that problem? I think cutting off weapons supply routes is a reasonable course of action.

I don't disagree.

Regarding water, communication and electricity independence - those problems could have been at least partially solved with the billions in aid money that were instead used for terror infrastructure under civilian homes.

They were used for welfare too, but not everything can be solved with valueless paper notes.

“From the river to the sea” style? Your true colors are showing

I never hid my "true colors", The nation simply shouldn't have existed. BTW you're still not addressing your "innocent people of Gaza" comment, and that's a pretty ugly shade. So you haven't unlocked the moral high ground yet.

Well, that strip of of land is not occupied since 2005

The UN and EU considered it to still be occupied for a reason: "it [Israel] controls Gaza's air and maritime space, as well as six of Gaza's seven land crossings. It reserves the right to enter Gaza at will with its military and maintains a no-go buffer zone within the Gaza territory. Gaza is dependent on Israel for water, electricity, telecommunications, and other utilities. The extensive Israeli buffer zone within the Strip renders much land off-limits to Gaza's inhabitants. The system of control imposed by Israel was described in the fall 2012 edition of International Security as an "indirect occupation". The European Union (EU) considers Gaza to be occupied."

which hasn’t prevented Hamas and the “innocent people of Gaza” from throwing more than 8,000 rockets into civilian towns

Hamas shouldn't have governed Gaza, but the other option had to be Fatah and "Israel" had to be a blood thirsty nation for all of it's existence. Hamas was acting as a charity; making the situation better for Gazans by building hospitals, schools, and mosques. While Fatah was showing off its corruption, and Hamas didn't even win by that much: Hamas: 44.45% | Fatah: 41.43 %

You’re delusional, ill-informed or you just want Israel gone, in which case you call for a actual genocide.

First of all: 'Hamas and the “innocent people of Gaza”' -you. Second: "Israel" shouldn't have existed, and should cease to exist.

Oh, btw, did you know Gaza also borders with Egypt? Ever asked yourself why the Egyptians never opened their borders to their fellow Muslim brothers even though a large percentage of the Gaza population descended from Egyption migrants to the region?

"Estimates of the size of the Palestinian population in Egypt range from 50,245 to 110,000", but Egypt would not want an influx of migrants into it's land, of course. They also would rather Palestine not vanish, and Egypt had it's problems with the Muslim brotherhood, so they're a bit cynical.

Also, why wasn’t there any calls for a Palestinian state between 1948-1967?

All-Palestine. Looks like a call to me.

Hmm... This reminds me of a country that kept a strip of people under a blockade, while calculating the calories they need to stay just above starvation level, and then gave permits to the people of the stripe to work like slaves for them.

Anyways the hostages aren't slaves there. They're bargaining chips, and it seems like one side of this conflict doesn't value them.

If you're in occupied Palestine you could even vote for one to be the next PM.

Yes. Resistance should start before they are completely erased.

This is the first time I see this happening to the settlers, they are usually the perpetrators. The Palestinians of the West bank must step it up. Fatah's bullshit isn't working.

They are just picking a common enemy in Israel but if they are gone they will go fucking themselves like they always have

No. If Palestine regains it's territory, Arabic countries will just go back to Iran as their common enemy.

Most conflicts in the Arab world are civil wars, not many conflicts between two countries (compared to other regions).

Ok? People usually require video evidence to trust an article, not the other way around, but I guess you have your reasons. I will just pretend that you're blind and cannot trust my transcription of the video, and each one of us goes on their way.

There's a video in the article showing some unarmed people just standing around, one of them is kneeling and trying to light up a pile of cardboard. For no apparent reason one of them is shot and the guy trying to help him is shot too. The first angle of the video shows that the shooter must have been far away, and the second angle shows that he's so far away that even if one of them was preparing a Molotov, there's no way he'd be able to harm the shooter.

What do you want the investigation to uncover? Do you think the soldier was threatened from his spot in some building a mile away?

The video is clear, but I will listen if you can justify what you see.
