I have a device (LED strip) that I'd like to substitute an adapter for. The first adapter (pic 1) isn't long enough, so I'd like to sub it with adapter 2 (pic 2).
I think this is all OK, but I pulled adapter 2 out of a box of cables I had in my parents' house and I just want to be sure before I plug anything in.
@Duallight I did see the polarity, but the broken circle is still pointing to the + on both plugs, so I thought that was same polarity but the symbol is just different for some reason, are they definitely opposite?

Hi, can you help me with a math problem kbin? It's algebra, and it's been a long time since I've had to do it. Can you explain to me how simplifying the terms comes out to 9/2 in the pictured equation please?
@nyarlathotep thank you so much! There's other comments to read below, but this is the first one that has triggered my memory for common denominators. You've explained it brilliantly!
Edit: can you explain how the reciprocal works and comes out to 2/9? Been a long time since high school
Hi lemmings, I switched over from Reddit 10 days ago now but I couldn't find a mobile client that I was happy with with an experience similar to the Reddit experience I was used to. So I decided to build my own and I hope you will like it as well!...
I've tried a few, but only stuck with Pretending to be People. They're a Delta Green podcast that mixes in some elements of Pop Cthulu and the storytelling, pacing and music are great. Give them a try if you like mysteries and eldritch stuff
I'm into most things, but my current constant rotations are Periphery, Haken, BTBAM and I've recently gotten back into Dream Theater, Meshuggah and Symphony X (I don't know how I'd not heard Michael Romeo's recent solo albums, they're so damn good) after a pretty long hiatus from them trying to discover new stuff.

OC What DnD (or other TTRPG) podcasts are you guys listening to?
I've tried out NADDPOD, TAZ and am currently listening to one in the Stars Without Number universe called Astronomica which is pretty funny....
I'd love a community vibe check. What is everybody into? Subgenres/Bands/Favorite albums... let's talk about what we like.
