"Look we are using ActivityPub, aren't we cool?"
"Look you can access other federated instances on our platform, isn't that cool?"
"All the best content is on our platform now, so we are removing the federation aspect"
Interesting. I'm currently on the "Reputation doesn't mean anything" modus operandi. It might be something we will all need to consider moving forward though.
Wow. Friday is here and my list of things to do is getting smaller. Just the one thing scheduled in the calendar meeting wise, but when I got in this morning there has been a massive failure at one location that I have to deal with as top priority.
Put everything in place and all of a sudden I'm hit with the sleepies as a result of our coffee beans running out and there not being enough for my normal IV drip of coffee that would last me the day.
On Sunday I've made a plan to do a bunch of snacky cooking while my wife takes the son to the park for a few ours. By the time they're back I'm hoping to have a smorgasboard of delights for us to kill off the evening with a movie. Maybe OG Space Jam? Other suggestions appropriate for a 3-4 year old are welcome.
Now that Steam Next Fest has finished I'll probably go back to the usual habits of playing Apex, Gunfire:reborn, and whatever other easy games I can play with 1-2 friends.
But while it was here Warhaven sucked a lot of my time. When that game comes out it'll find its way into the above rotation just by virtue of fitting the usual formula of; party with friends, kill people, achieve objective.
Otherwise, I've got a backlog a mile long of single-player games I bought and wanted to play, but I just can't stick to any one of them for long enough to feel like I'm really making a dent in it. Further to that I feel like when I have the time to play games, it always overlaps with time to play games with friends, and that always trumps playing a solo game for a few hours.
