No, Trump was not selling classified documents. His retention and mishandling of those docs was extremely bad, but that's a long way from "he was giving them to Putin" or whatever. That's just silly.
Even if you think Trump is/was (implausibly) a Russian asset, Intelligence orgs don't want original stolen docs. That's the LAST thing they want someone to take. That means someone will likely figure out they're missing. Which makes the information in them MUCH less valuable.
@mattblaze You are trying to attribute rational behavior and thinking to irrational people who don't care one little bit about what anybody else thinks. And why would it be "silly" for Putin (or any other world leader) to not want intel?
