I heard about Lemmy on Reddit, then heard about kbin on Lemmy. I'm just trying to figure out which interface I like better between the two. I read that I can browse both Lemmy and kbin together at the same time, but I have no idea how to do that yet; I'm brand new to the fediverse so right now I'm just trying to learn the basics and get acclimated.
In general, I appreciate the content focused on actual discussion like the internet message boards of the old days, as opposed to just a bunch of pictures and memes and videos and jokes, which is what Reddit has devolved into. I'm happy to be here!
