Coade gave inspiration for editors for sure, but there are some key differences in overall gameplay based on my perceived shortcomings.
Grand campaign and history
Rixas will have a grand campaign that lasts 70 years(tech wise) in a fictional world that allows for organic military buildup and worldbuilding setup.
Real cost, time, logistics, materials
Currently this is abstracted, but things in rixas need proper tooling, resources, and transport to warehouses or the frontline (check out my stockpile video for a sliver!).
Persistent grand battle map w rear line
All squads on the map doing their thing at once. This includes real supply trucks, field kitchens, hospitals, mechanics, etc!

Introducing a new developer to the team! Zhai Jinpeng (Phoenix) has developed one of the best Internal Ballistic simulators I have seen (The Phoenix Internal Ballistic Simulator). His system will be integrated into Rixas with the needed adjustments. I am expecting to heavily change some of the designers as a result of the change.

Phoenix has also kindly agreed to upgrade the PIBS core based on future Rixas needs!
This is a massive change. Current Rixas designers are pretty much a placeholder, and some of the underlying calculations behind it are held together by duck tape and hope (try implementing an equation that doesn't seem to work no matter how you implement it).

Yes! With default binaries the sizes are roughly the same, but if you want custom template exports like me the size baloons compared to a windows custom binary. I think the windows automatically optimizes for space compared to linux custom exports.

Thanks for your questions! In this case, it is calculations of complicated things. Multithreading is mandatory because some of the problems that need computing hang up a single thread!
Adding to this, one thing that I never thought I would do, is having to come up with pretty crazy geometric solutions:
Ex. how many circles fit on the outer layer of a larger circle with a certain space in between
Or the fact that I need to troubleshoot Equations because so many papers and journals have typos in them.
