Can someone explain to me how magazines work across instances? If there is a magazine on one instance, and the same named magazine on another instance, when the issues with frederation and cloudlfare are sorted out, will those two magazines show as the one magazine on kbin? Or do they just stay seperate?
As everything is no one true home anymore, is kbin effectively just acting as a instance agregator as well as being its own instance?
@leaskovski Depends on how it's been setup. Mostly yes, they'll be separate but you might find that some magazines are literally just pointers to the ones on other instances. You generally see this when you have the yellow warning at the top of a magazine saying to view the original instance for older content.
Until the dust settles, and much like you had to do on Reddit if a particular subjects had a number of Subs, just subscribe to em all.
