There’s been some downtime on Lemmy.World. I think this wont be the last time, as the amount of users coming in during the next month will be ginormous. That’s completely fine with me....
I just signed up for kbin and I’m not going to sign up for anything else and I’m okay with that. I’m having a lot of fun here as it reminds me of 00s internet.
I wasn’t holding on to hope but I’m lazy so I kept using Apollo right up until the end. Created my account here a couple of weeks ago though. I like it here, feels like late 00s internet.

Here in Michigan we’ve been getting hammered with forest fire smoke all summer. It sucks because we only get a few months of nice weather as it is and we can’t spend most days outside if we value our lungs. I need my lungs for precious cannabis smoke, not forest fire smoke!
Yeah, it used to be possible to change the URL to i.reddit.com to get around the NSFW thing but they got rid of that 2 months ago. It was then that I knew reddit was really going down the shitter.
