sourcreamkiwis,

Not for me. I can't stand the way spotify organizes music, it doesn't make sense to me. When I click on an artist, I don't want to see every song in my library in a list, I want to see albums, and I don't want to scroll through a list of albums that contains all artists albums. Apple music makes more sense. And the final kicker was Spotify taking away the easily accessible Recently Played. Granted I haven't used it in 3 or so years so maybe they fixed it, but I'm settled where I am

Honey bees and social wasps reach convergent architectural solutions to nest-building problems (journals.plos.org)

Honey bees and social wasps independently evolved hexagonal cells in their nests, but in some species, cell size dimorphism creates an inherent tiling problem. This study shows that despite independent evolutionary origins, building materials, and comb configurations, all species solve this architectural problem using the same...

sourcreamkiwis,

This is interesting, I always thought the hexagonal pattern was simply a result of forced circle packing. (i.e., if you squeeze a handful of straws and look at the cross section, they begin to form hexagons)
