Ran into my first EV hater today.

Some idiot kid driving a Porsche, which no way he owns, felt the need to yell insults to me as I was turning at an intersection.

Like, okay? But at least I own my car and won’t be resuming a minimum wage job tomorrow morning.

Guy down the road from me has had tons of Trump paraphernalia on his truck along with “fuck your feelings” decals.

Now that’s all gone, replaced with “I need an O-Type kidney donor” wrapped on the rear window, magnetic sings on the doors, and a massive sign on his lawn.

Wow! The Who to follow suggestions in the #Mastodon feed appear to be personalized 👀

When I click "see all" it takes me to a list of profiles. Above each profile it tells me why each one is being suggested.

The reasons: "Popular among people you follow", "Popular on mstdn.social", and "Similar to profiles you recently followed"

I’ve been getting back into using last.fm to ‘Scrobble’ my music listens. It’s far from perfect, but between hooking it up to Apple’s Music app and Plex and now a Safari extension for Soma.fm, I think I’m set.

In less than 2 weeks I’ve officially listened to more music than all I Scrobbled in 2009 where I used Last.fm from Jan - May.

Tesla ousting Musk (or him being a baby & leaving) would be a HUGE WIN for the company. I absolutely did not consider a Tesla when car shopping last year and that is 100% because of Elon.

I have an query that is ordering by post_date. But the date for this particular set of posts is identical.

So it's giving me them in different orders if I run the same query a few times. Which is messing up pagination.

Finally finished breaking the DRM on my pre-2009 iTunes Music Store purchased songs. I am now the proud owner of free-and-clear AAC files I paid for almost 20 years ago.

@dennis_p Ah yeah. I still have my OG mp3 rips but I loved buying from iTMS when it launched. They removed DRM in 2009 but everything bought before that still has it. There WAS a loophole wherein you deleted a purchase & re-downloaded, which gave a non-DRM’d file. Apparently that was ‘fixed’ at some point.

I basically had to painstakingly go through my library song by song.
