@PamelaBarroway@acarson The reason the Left doesn't accept the existence of a jewish state is because of their fundamental belief in Cosmopolitanism, and their support of "open borders". They believe all borders are immoral. They believe local control of laws, culture, or any ethnic homogeneity is immoral. Their stated goal is the abolishment of nations, and the internationalizing of authority. These beliefs preclude not only a Jewish state, but a French or Iranian state, either.
@acarson@PamelaBarroway No. They explicitly talk about that for America, at every opportunity. When they support completely open border policies for America and Europe, that is their goal, as well. Israel is their focus now, but mostly because it is the most vulnerable, at the moment. They will not stop with Israel.
@bryansmart@PamelaBarroway Well to clarify, I think I do know something like 3 actual anti-nationstate people who will state explicitly what they wayt. The rest though are just selective about it.
@acarson@PamelaBarroway You can tell the difference by asking them what restrictions they support on immigration. For example, ask them if illegal immigrants convicted of violent crime, murder, rape, sex trafficking, assault, etc should be deported. Even people who generally support immigration will say yes, because they don't want more criminals here. those supporting Cosmopolitanism and anarchism will tell you everyone should be allowed to stay, or borders are immoral.
