I'm getting very sick of every Fantasy and Sci-Fi author thinking they have to be George R.R. Martin and making their novels into huge series. Not everything has to be a series.
@jppelt I'm reading The City of Brass right now. Having a hard time getting into it, and made the mistake of reading the summaries (just the outside covers) of the other two books. Major effin' spoilers there, which should be illegal.
