Man, I love the AUR. They even got fedi-fetcher!

Let nobody tell you that Arch isn't for servers. It's a great experience, honestly.

@fell Would love to run Arch on my servers, but I never would. Server stability is the key requirement, and the frequent updates of Arch could have a detrimental impact on that stability. And if you delay updates for a period of time, when you do eventually upgrade, the server may be broken afterwards.

Best to run Debian on servers, IMHO.

@bitlevel I'm using Arch on 8 machines (some desktop, some server) for a about 3 years now. I barely had any stability issues.

One time, bluetooth stopped working.
One time, a specific wine feature stopped working.
That's about it. Both fixed itself over time through updates. And none of this is really relevant for servers.

Debian is great, use whatever you prefer. I'm just saying that the "Arch is unstable" myth is not true.
