Extra Thick Bread Slice
Found a piece of bread in a store bought loaf that didn’t get sliced properly.

AncientFutureNow, Texas Toast? Naw. That’s Alaska Toast!
Alexstarfire, Damn, tough enough to destroy the blades. Gonna be difficult to eat.
RizzRustbolt, New standard slice for a modern economy.
intensely_human, That’s amazing. I won’t be able to sleep for a week after seeing this.
RedStrider, it’s the best post since… um… uh…
card797, That bread might be big enough for Texas!
Blizzard, If only we had some kind of a sharp tool at our homes to turn a thick slice into a few thinner slices 🤔
intensely_human, OP might be able to run a tape measure through it to separate the bread from the bread material.
NickwithaC, We don’t. Such a tool does not exist. Any attempt to cut already sliced bread into thinner slices will only ever result in a pile of crumbs and tears.
sir_pronoun, This is very mild
devilish666, Ahh yes…the B R E A D
mrfriki, All i see is a French toast in the making.
anarchrist, More of a broad than a bread, innit?
vk6flab, Not to alarm you, but things like that make me wonder if that’s because it fell on the floor and the employee just stuffed it back into the loaf, or did the bread cutter lose several cutting wires, and if so, where did they go?
Mouselemming, (edited ) It’s at the heel so more likely the other end of the loaf got stuck as it slid in, and this end never made it to the wires. Then the whole loaf got pushed into a bag as usual, the front end having been dislodged by the vibration of the slicing process.
intensely_human, One time I dropped a cookie on the floor and by the time I picked it up it was the size of a trash can lid
nicknonya, the best thing since more-sliced bread
jubilationtcornpone,
jqubed, Ah, I didn’t quite understand from the first picture. I thought this was like one of those loafs I’ve seen in Quebec where they slice the bread the long way.
intensely_human, I’m confused. Is this more thick bread?
