@keithwilson you could come to our instance (https://neuromatch.social/home) - it’s neuroscience-oriented but we would welcome a philosopher! And it has a 10000 character post limit 😉
@elduvelle Thanks! The 10,000 character limit is certainly nice. My current instance has the same, but is currently running an older version of Mastodon that lacks search, hashtag follows, and other features.
@keithwilson we are running the “glitch” branch which has some extra perks (like markdown formatting, I don’t remember the other ones) and we also have search and hashtag follow. I have to say the search has its limits but I don’t think that’s specific to our server.
Our admins are also working on getting fetch all replies to work. They’re very, very nice :)
