Outside of Calibre, for reading I use KoReader on all platforms, and sometimes Okular on a desktop.

There's also Calibre-web (shown here viewing an issue of PHP Architect).

@thelinuxcast I just recently learned #audiobookshelf can do ebooks too. The reader is so much better than Kavita’s
