To TF2 Competitive players - how's competitive?

I've never played competitive before, but I hear it sucks. If you play competitive, how's it actually like?

Depends what you mean by competitive, if you mean Valve's competitive matchmaking, then yea from what I've seen it's awful, otherwise actually community competitive like highlander, sixes and the other formats are pretty fun, I'd reccomend you at least give it a shot at some point.

Stay on Topic: Keep the magazine focused on TF2-related content. Ensure that your threads and discussions revolve around Team Fortress 2 gameplay, updates, strategies, community creations, and other relevant aspects of the game.
No Promotion of Cheating or Hacking: Do not promote cheating, hacking, or any form of unfair advantage in TF2. Encourage fair play and report any suspicious activities to appropriate authorities (either the Valve TF2 team or the moderators of the community server).
Share Content and Media: Contribute to the magazine by sharing TF2-related content such as gameplay clips, fan art, screenshots, tutorials, and memorable moments. Inspire and entertain the community with your creative contributions.
Encourage Constructive Discussions: Engage in constructive discussions about TF2 gameplay, strategies, class balancing, and updates. Provide valuable insights, share tips and tricks, and contribute positively to ongoing conversations.
