GiddyGap,

Just start doing it now and eventually things will have converted. It may take a while, but it will happen eventually if you do it consistently.

But there are too many contrarian Americans out there who’ll take inconvenience over logic just because it “the American way” or “America is special.” Have several of those people in my extended family.

GiddyGap,

I’d love to go to Linux, but I use so many apps that are only available for Windows.

GiddyGap,

Lots of proprietary apps for work. No-go for me.

GiddyGap,

They are completely blinded by this guy.

GiddyGap,

I’m never going to be on the side of Hamas, but there’s no need to make a mockery of something that will surely involves civilian casualties. Shame on her.

GiddyGap, (edited )

Definitely a thing in the US. People spend lots of money to have chemicals poured onto their lawns every year, summer and winter, to keep the weeds away. All of those chemicals have to go somewhere. Probably the groundwater and streams and other bodies of water. Not good.

GiddyGap,

Go look up the debates between Biden and Trump from the 2020 campaign. Biden literally had to ask Trump to “shut up” on stage. The Cheeto-dusted dipshit literally could not stop interrupting. How embarrassing.

GiddyGap,

Republican congressmen and women and Republican Senators will just say it’s a hoax trial and a corrupt justice system. It’s not a sane world right now.

GiddyGap,

Yeah, but museums don’t have money. All hail capitalism!

Why Megadonors Are Unfazed by Donald Trump’s Guilty Verdict | Money flowed into the former president’s re-election campaign from Wall Street and Silicon Valley following Thursday’s historic conviction (www.nytimes.com)

With the billionaires backing him, it’s going to be on us as individual Americans to make sure Trump doesn’t end up in the White House again. That means not just voting but talking with people around you, volunteering and donating

GiddyGap,

Americans are very odd.

GiddyGap,

Seems like most Americans are attracted to extremes of all sorts, so extremists thrive.

GiddyGap,

I’m 7-3. I eat lunch at my desk while I work so I can leave early.

GiddyGap,

Shitshow, definitely.

But apparently he can vote if he is done serving the punishment. So, if the punishment is a fine and he pays the fine, Florida can (and probably will) reinstate his right to vote.

It depends on the punishment and when he’ll be able to complete the punishment.

GiddyGap,

Hold my beer…American pulling out checkbook

GiddyGap,

Sorry, but still very far behind on this and many other things.

GiddyGap,

I have a couple of other constitutional amendments I’d like to advance before this.

GiddyGap,

Still a lot better than anything Trump would come up with.

GiddyGap,

They are just trying to one-up each other as always. Children in old-man bodies.

GiddyGap,

But also don’t automatically dismiss until we know more.

GiddyGap,

Definitely. I despise close to all of his work, but there’s no denying the efficiency.

And it makes it very clear how important it is to vote every time.
