Anyone have recommendations for a slick, hopefully cheerful sci-fi heist movie?

The closest I'm coming up with is Space Sweepers, which was awesome but not really a heist. I want Ocean's Eleven with ray guns and teleporting clones.

@afeinman Serenity could perhaps for the bill. Doesn't require you to have seen the Firefly series first, IMHO.

There's a 12th Doctor episode, Time Heist, though not a movie.

If he gets the timing slightly wrong, the guitar cuts out for a few seconds on the recording.

    Other than the bizarre pro-Series 60 Nokia story has anyone written any kind of story of how the brief glory period of desktop Linux on the smartphone in 2006-2010 caught fire and fell into the sea?

    Help me understand #RedditMigration and the #fediverse, please!

    I get #federation of social media micro blogging, so grok seeing #Calckey, #Mastodon and #Pixelfed in my Mastodon client. I also get #ActivityPub being the underlying protocol for it all.

    But, IMHO my Mastodon client isn't ideal for #kbin or #Lemmy groups. Do I have to choose between kbin or Lemmy? Or can I follow and contribute to a kbin "sub" from a Lemmy account (or vice versa), and use the Lemmy mobile app to do so?
