I just love to flop against my water dish, but BunMum hasn’t captured it often 🥰. It’s the best 🙌 if I can make some waves 🌊 and they splash on my back. 😁 Then I hop over to BunMum or BunDad for a pat and they call me a soggy rabbit 😏.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how I love to rest my thumpers against the water dish and clean my toes using the water. 🥰 I love having clean thumpertoes! My water might taste faintly like thumpertoes afterwards but I don’t mind at all 🥰! -Skye 💕 (Sorry for the length of this one. In the middle I spread my toesies out and clearly I couldn’t edit that cuteness out… 😌)

1/4 Hey friends! 👋 Today I thought I’d share my little critical care and afternoon meddie routine with you! I’m much better now 🥰 but BunMum likes to give me critical care 1-2 times a day still since I don’t always eat as much as she’d like in the afternoons.

When I was sick we’d do this every 2.5 hours round the clock. ⏰

I’m this first video I try to fake BunMum out and pretend I got LOTS on the first dose, but she’s too clever for me….

Bunny is wrapped in blanket and administered two doses. The first one wasn’t fully in the mouth although bunny chews quite a bit..

3/4 This is how BunMum prepares the Metacam (bunny Advil) for me. It’s supposed to be taken with food so after critical care is a perfect time!

She used to weep because it was so overwhelming when I was sick but she’s improved her efficiency now! She still hopes for a better system from the vet tech next time. I quite like the sweet taste.😋 🍯

Bunmum prepares the meds as described as the bunny patiently waits. The bunny eats is enthusiastically.

4/4 Finally (the best part!), I am put down again on the floor. I always pat the rug to make sure it’s in order (it’s always a mess), then hop off.

But wait! Did you catch it? 🤭 As I hop off, I give BunMum a footflick (bunny equivalent of the middle finger- in the wild I’d be flicking poops in BunMum’s face), telling her off. 🤭 Hee hee, serves you right, BunMum! 😆 (I still love her though, just have to maintain my independence and all that…!) -Skye 💕

Diary of an ASD Squirrel. Day 176 , Sunday 21/04/2024

Sunday had been a quiet day, spent a decent portion of it on here, not that I’m addicted or anything. 😆

Dizzy spells are still a thing , sadly.

I have said it before & probably will do again , there are some truly lovely folks on here, we share our laughter, our pain & our fears . We teach each other & we bring new perspectives to each other !
The Fediverse is like no other SM & I love it here !

Continued with the Terminator fest this afternoon - Terminator Salvation this time.

Then a couple of Supernaturals to finish the day.

Final Thoughts.

Nothing deep or philosophical , just had a nice day .
