At least on twitter I could believe that there were low numbers of retweets because I was being censored, because I was being censored, I could actually verify in a reproducible manner myself, as did journalists of major news agencies.

Here, I'm not, I have verified. Here, people just don't care to click a button once or twice to help end some of the worst intentional and endable acts known to humankind.

Yet there were more retweets per follower there than there are boosts per follower here for e.g. the HPG press releases that I format for sharing here as I did there, or translations that I know for sure you didn't already see published by anyone else elsewhere, because they're original by me for you here.
I can only draw the conclusion that here, people just don't give enough of a shit about making the world better.
I genuinely don't know why I keep trying. You don't (generalized speaking).

Anyone who is "just reading" on Mastodon (or otherwise in the Fediverse) but not even contributing by forwarding what they find important or interesting,
thereby choose to ensure that they will have nothing to "just read" in the future.

I have talked about this in private with several people operating accounts that are major on other platforms after they stopped being active on Mastodon and that was the one and only reason all of them cited for leaving, that posting here is nigh pointless and a waste of their resources because what they post here propagates vastly less compared to on other platforms.
They can not change that.
You can.

P.S.: This isn't Facebook or Twitter.
"Liking" a toot contributes nothing. There is no magic "algorithm" guessing wrong what people want to see based on hidden censorship-enabling parameters.
Only "boost"/"forward" contributes anything. Use it while you have anything to use it on.

The ban against using chemical weapons in warfare is absolute.
Except apparently if it is inconvenient to NATO, EU and Putin at the same time,
in which case the organization that has taken upon itself to investigate every such instance, OPCW, will resolutely... call the police on people protesting its inaction outside its HQ and refuse to investigate the videos and soil samples sent to it, just as it refused to reject the bribe it proudly publicly announced having received from Turkey just before Erdoğan began the chemical warfare.

Israel bombs yet another school run by the United Nations in the Gaza Strip of Palestine, killing at least 40 people, out of which 14 children and 9 women so far as well as wounding 73 people.
It was housing internally displaced people (refugees) at the time.
Israel claimed Hamas was there, but has not shown even any claimed evidence of that, according to latest news report on Public Service radio in Sweden, whose reporter woken up by the bombing also says having seen the dead children carried out of the bombed refugee-housing UN-school in their sleeping blankets, because everyone was asleep when the mass-murder was committed.

In a student action in solidarity with the people in Palestine at Sweden's largest technical university, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, a room of Student Union (https://thskth.se/en/general/ths-organisation) building was occupied at about 1 p.m. by ~20 people of "KTH for Palestine", so the special "Task Force" of police (similar to SWAT) came with 20 cop cars, cop cavalry, helicopters and rioting equipment to be violent against the people protesting against the university's continuing to whitewash genocide and war crimes, by force removing the students from the Student Union.
The police detained 19 and say the students are suspected of unlawful entry, not following police order and infliction of damage.

One protester explained to Public Service radio that the students had been holding other forms of protests with demos and a protest encampment for weeks but that the university had refused to engage with them and that's why the students occupied at the Student Union.

The Minister for Education ("Liberals" party, not=USA's "liberal" but firmly right-wing) commented "I am outraged"... not at the university bringing violence against people for protesting war crimes and genocide, but against the students, astoundingly claiming the protests "risk weakening democracy".

They didn't have a choice.
That choice was made by the DNC.

The DNC of course traditionally cares nothing for political principles, the populace or most anything really except for one thing: to grab and hold power, which it believes must be done through selling out all supposed ideological values to lobbyists and similar villains, if that seems to lead to more party power.

The ones whose fault it will be, is the people who kept screaming "vote blue no matter who" and bullying anyone who said they would not be voting for a knowing accessory to genocide, crimes against humanity, etc, Biden,
because those few but extremely loud and immoral voices kept giving the DNC the impression that Biden was a viable option,
instead of saying no, never again, early, so that a viable candidate, one with a functioning moral compass and at least somewhat leftish ideas, like AOC, Tlaib, Sanders or Omar, would have been picked and instead have easily won if properly backed.
