@jglypt hi Jack, as far as I am aware, on Mastodon the only real 'checkmarks' are when someone has a tick next to a website on their profile. What that means is they have put some code on their website that confirms the mastodon account genuinely belongs to that site

@jglypt I honestly don't know. It might depend on which mastodon app you are using, but my guess is that its just there for decoration and doesnt mean anything haha. The one to check is the website one, like your one!

you know... it wasn't until today that it really hit me that pets are family. Canada made legal history with a Golden Retriever at the center of a custody battle.

i think all the time about all the pets i grew up with; especially Tiger, our German Shepherd. he was like our dog brother. we were his herd.

pets are family. we should cherish them as such.
