I see a lot of scripts crawling my webpages for PHP scripts, DLL executeables, .git directories...

Which HTTP response would cause the attackers most distress, without dragging my servers down too much? 🤔

They use curl or custom clients in Python or Go. I'd expect all of those to handle "Too many redirects" on their own.

I‘m thinking about migrating my email from .com to @protonmail. Has anyone here experiences with @protonmail? Maybe also with migrating from hey?

Would be interested in what works well and what are the challenges.

@ceedee666 @protonmail we considered proton when migrating our company away from hey, but settled for a „classical“ mail account with mailbox.org because proton does not support SMTP, and we already missed that at hey.

Angenommen ein Player im Fediverse würde Nutzerdaten für Werbezwecke auswerten - wie sieht es denn da mit Datenschutzrichtlinien aus? Wenn mir jemand von dort folgt, dann werden meine Inhalte dorthin federiert, ohne, dass ich meine Zustimmung dafür gebe? Wären Server Admins dann verpflichtet, Server mit inkompatiblem Datenschutz zu defederieren? Das könnte ja niemand leisten.
