This is a death sentence for Tesla. I have a Model 3 that I enjoy despite its shortcomings. One of the deciding factors was the supercharger network. It’s the easiest system I’ve used for charging. It makes all other networks infuriating in comparison.
A lot of people get Teslas for the ease of charging alone. If the network starts to falter, people will leave the brand even faster than they already are.

This is key. If he jailed him right away, his attorneys would call for a mistrial saying the judge was biased against him and they would probably succeed in getting the trial thrown out. It would still go on with another judge, but when the tactic is delay, they win.
This is the first step towards jail for contempt. There can be no doubt Trump is maliciously violating the gag order.

Going by what’s in the article, which, admittedly, isn’t a lot, I think this is more a case of negligence. Anyone who dies in a prison is automatically autopsied. In order for a heart to be a viable transplant organ, the donor must be in a brain-dead state while still receiving life sustaining care. Even a few hours deceased is enough to make a heart non-viable (though apparently this is becoming less true!).
The much more likely answer, is either the autopsy surgeon or an autopsy tech threw the heart out in standard biohazard waste. Still disgusting, uncaring behavior, but until more evidence comes out, I’d say this isn’t malicious.
All that said, the Alabama Correctional Prison System is terribly corrupt, so it wouldn’t take a lot to change my mind.
What frightens me: who is going to be the next Trump? Let’s face it, there will likely be another Republican president at some point. Our election system almost guarantees it. Will they do the decent thing and try to work towards the betterment of the country, or will they continue their predecessors’ path towards dictatorship? The other front-runners don’t inspire much confidence in the former (exception: maybe Christie, but there’s virtually no way he’ll win).
Nearly every Republican that voted to impeach Trump lost their primary vote, so I only see them going further right, and a lot of people seem to be okay with this.
I love my Model 3, but everything you said is spot on. Autopilot is a great driver assist, but it is nowhere near autonomous driving. I was using it on the highway and was passing a truck on the left. The road veered left and the truck did as well, keeping in its lane the entire time. The car interpreted this as the truck merging over into my lane and slammed the brakes. Fortunately, I was able to figure out what went wrong and quickly accelerated myself so as to not become a hazard to the cars behind me.
Using Autopilot as anything more than a nice dynamic cruise control setting is putting your life, and other lives, in danger.
