Does anyone here ever get migraines due to low blood sugar?

I had one yesterday, and it wiped me out most of the afternoon. I need to find out what’s causing it so I bought a blood sugar checker to use when it next happens as I’m 99% sure it’s food related (or lack of)

Other people with iPhone 14 Pro…how's your battery max capacity holding up? Mines down to 87% after just over a year, and it's really noticeable. Regular iPhone 14s my kids got at the same time are still ~96%.

So, my current workflow for watching anything that anybody posts to YouTube is to first try it in Safari... if it detects ad blockers there, I open the link in Firefox, which seems to deliver a short pause, then plays the video.

Ads on there are obnoxious, prevalent and most often un-skipable, that watching anything on the platform has become a chore. If they lowered the price of ad-free, I may consider it, but at the moment, it's more than just about any other streaming service.

@andycarolan I feel the same way. £16pm is too much. I use the app Play and it doesn’t seem to show any ads on iOS. Not sure how!

Health update -

I’ve slept most of the week. Occasionally waking up to drink something.

I haven’t felt this ill for years, but I may try and get up for a few hours today.

I’m not willing to call it flu, but it’s no simple cold. Maybe the double jabs ruined me, perhaps I already had something gestating.

I plan to take another COVID test later today, although the ones I took on Tuesday was negative.

@andycarolan have you got up to date tests? I had it last month and the tests I had that were still in date showed negative. I ordered some new ones from Boots and they showed a very strong positive while the others still showed negative.

@andycarolan I did some reading about it and it seems they lose sensitivity and can’t always detect the latest strains. Hope you feel better soon.

Does anyone here with ME/CFS have flare ups of what I can only describe as flu-like after 'too much' exercise/running out of spoons. I'm wondering if that's what's happened to me this time.

@andycarolan my partner has CFS and Long Covid and gets exactly that along with severe fatigue.

@andycarolan she went from half marathons before this to needing mobility aids to get around now. Sounds like you’re having a hard time too.

Any armchair lawyers out there want to tackle this one?

A customer in Europe is asking if I can issue them an invoice for an IAP because their tax office is rejecting Apple's invoice as it does not include their VAT number. Apple has said it cannot provide an invoice with VAT.

Superficially, I'd like to be helpful, but also seems technically inaccurate since they are doing business with Apple, not my entity directly, in an App Store transaction.

I went for my COVID jab and the pharmacist asked if I wanted a Flu jab too.

So, I'm fully Flu/COVID vaccinated with a slightly numb left arm!

Arc's new AI features are kinda rad. I personally enjoy the one that renames your downloaded files to have more useful names.

I don't always want this, but 99% of the time it's helpful (and I can quickly undo the change with that undo arrow icon)!
