Right. It's a standard, grammatically correct pronoun, not a so-called personal pronoun which does not exist anywhere in consensus English grammar. If you can't tell the difference, sit this one out.
@Tenacious_Tea I think the scale is a Christmas gift to modders, but I really want to hear more about what modding will be like. Creation Engine 2 apparently uses all-new tools.
I think the options modders will have in this game will keep me playing Starfield for many year.
Imagine all the empty planets that could be completely transformed and reimagined. I’m so excited to see what modders will create when the game launches.
@Tenacious_Tea I would be surprised if they dropped console mods. Bethesda.net and console modding were huge features for Fallout 4 and Skyrim Special Edition
I have not. I am opposed to the general practice of preordering. I think that it's important for a consumer to be able to see and know what they're buying before they buy it. If one pre-orders a game, one is buying something based on the reputation of the studio or publisher or pre-release marketing. Some studios or publishers have pretty good reputations, but there is no studio that always hits home runs 100% of the time.
I suppose that he's entitled to his opinion, but I would personally like to be able to buy third-party content if someone wants to produce solid stuff. I would also like Bethesda to have a financial incentive to support mods effectively.
I don't think that that is an unreasonable roadblock to someone creating free mods. There is a lot of commercial software out there in the world, and there is a lot of free, open-source software out there, and they coexist.
They mention layering in hand built content along with the procedural generation. It really all depends on how well they've done this. Hopefully, it's 20% like No Man's Sky and 80% Skyrim (because NMS got boring really fast).
I can’t believe the fucking IGN review talked about the ending before the actual gameplay. I don’t want to know about the exact ending choices in a review ffs.
Yes, because I want to play the game from September 1, and because Bethesda has a lot going on this game, so I think the gameplay experience will be good. Especially after the initial flop that Fallout 76 was. I think they've learnt lessons from that.
And even if they didn't "hit a home run" (which would surprise me), I want to experience this game for myself.
Man I am conservatively hyped for this game. I know it's bethesda and they could pull something and fuck it up, but god does it look good. Sure theres a normal amount of bethesda jank, but it theres also just so much going on... It needs to be september already.
This quote though, "And we don't ever want to sacrifice that experience that makes our games feel really, really special. So it feels great." Oof. 30fps does NOT usually feel great, especially in a game where you have all these animations and everything.
Yeah, I just got off of Zelda TotK, which was 30fps, but they skip animations ALL the time to make the game feel super responsive. I HIGHLY doubt Starfield will do the same.
