@tob Okay. How does the much larger world population work with the concept of bad vs. worse? Is that factored into your statement? There are more people. Is it still worse? Or, is it bad?
@StillIRise1963 It made NO SENCE to create this inbalance. Board members do NOT have to allow such obscenely high salaries to CEO’s, etc… esp when the planet has such ridiculously high numbers of homeless and allowing people to starve to death while others enjoy caviar on the deck of their mega yachts. 🖕🏻
@StillIRise1963 Thats for sure. I have personally witnessed, in my congrgation, a handful of young men, who were also friends of mine, change for the worse. Oh sure, Sundays take-in got fatter, but I also saw a transformation thats becoming very common in the USA ….. and NOT for the better. It’s become very common to place $$ over human life. Greed ….. it’s a disease.
@PadreWil Two students I worked with told me about their congregations in Brooklyn changing for the worse. Money people coming in and focusing everything on that and getting more. All the things that bound the community together were ended.
@StillIRise1963 The 2800 hold twice the wealth of the remaining 8 billion. They may very in personality traits/beliefs, but the one thing they all have in common is their sole and overriding mortal fear of losing their wealth. Meanwhile, the vast majority of the 8 billion would sell out their own to improve their position and wouldnt risk what theyve accumulated to take on the power of the elites. Since theyre vastly outnumbered, they purposefully keep us fractured to make sure it can’t happen
@StillIRise1963 Reaganomics baby! I mean.... It will trickle down eventually right? Or....is trickle down economics putting the squeeze on us so that it trickles down on them?
