Why do some cars have their engines in the front and some in the back, what are the advantages and disadvantages of the two builds. And why doesn’t every car have full wheel drive?
Front engine, rear drive is easy to build. Good driving characteristics until you lose traction in the rear, which isn’t hard because there’s not much weight back there. You get over steer which isn’t the easiest to deal with.
Front engine, front drive is cheap to build. Good driving characteristics until you start pushing the limits, then you get under steer which is easy to deal with by letting off the gas.
Rear engine, rear wheel drive. Same cost advantages of Front/front but has some quirky driving characteristics.
Rear engine, front drive: nope.
AWD: better driving characteristics, more cost and more weight.
Mid engine, rwd: similar to rear/rear, but costs more, better handling.

They turned Pavilions from a nice store to another dingy grocery. I can’t imagine this going through would be good for consumers. Many neighborhoods only have access to 2 stores at best, and I suspect most are already owned by the same parent. A merger would further turn this into a monopoly.
In many parts of the US we create paths for unwanted animals to cross freeways safely. Most are tunnels under, but sometimes it’s a crosswalk over. The idea is that no matter what we do, the animals are going to find a way to cross. We create the paths(at significant expense)so as to avoid unwanted death of the animal, and also to prevent people from hitting them at speed, causing additional injury, death, or at minimum financial burden.
I feel we should either treat these people like humans and help them (legalize their immigration), or treat them like animals and do at least a little bit to prevent them from causing further harm and financial burden. Treating them like terrorists seems to be the worst option.

Sadly, many can’t move. Retirement homes/communities are sometimes more expensive. Smaller homes cost more or have HOA fees they can’t make work. Most all options have taxes they also can’t make work.
I wish it were as easy as telling them to move but it’s not.
