To the people, is Firefox still the go to browser? Is there something better out there for the average person? I’ve heard good things about internet explorer.
Windows 10 EoL is fast approaching, so I thought I’d give Linux a try on some equipment that won’t be able to upgrade to Windows 11. I wanted to see if I will be able to recommend an option to anyone that asks me what they should do with their old PC....
I’ve always thought that local gov should be able to provide a baseline level of access to the internet, with commercial vendors bringing services and value above that baseline. Sadly our elected representatives were convinced otherwise. I’m glad to see movement in the right direction though.

Dude is rapidly approaching, not following commands from a single officer, has a gun, and is shouting “fuck you” at the cops at 2am after a domestic dispute was called in.
Dude was aggro as fuck.
Why the cops didn’t simple state that, I don’t know. I don’t think the shooting was out of order though.

So recently my work, a mid sized engineering firm, decided to start upgrading their IT security. The rumor is that we have potential DOD work coming our way. I’ve never paid for an OS upgrade.
Apple supports devices longer than most large android OEMs.
Not much bloatware that I can think of.
Yes, software built for one OS doesn’t usually go to another OS without much issue. If it does it’s because it’s a PWA. Also, I have money.
Who cares what they call their staff?
Flat/Philips head screws are the worst. Nearly anything else is better. Years of working with HP/Compaq, Dell, BlackBerry, super micro,Nortel, Cisco, Ford, Mitsubishi, bmw, Suzuki, Yamaha equipment has made me realize that.
Last month, a federal judge in Delaware heard arguments from AstraZeneca’s lawyers, which reportedly went poorly. AstraZeneca argued that Medicare’s new power to negotiate drug prices violates the company’s rights under the Fifth Amendment’s due process clause. The forced negotiations deprive the company of “property rights in their drug products and their patent rights" without due process, AstraZeneca claimed. But Colm Connolly, chief judge of the US District Court of Delaware, was skeptical of how that could be the case, according to a Stat reporter who was present for the hearing. Connolly noted that AstraZeneca doesn’t have to sell drugs to Medicare. “You’re free to do what you want,” Connolly reportedly said. “You may not make as much money.”
At a later point, Connolly bluntly commented: “I don’t find their argument compelling.”
You know how your infotainment is fast to start up, works well and is only buggy when using CarPlay/AndroidAuto? Well now expect only the CarPlay/AA experience.
QNX is a great OS, and it’s unfortunate that instead of getting better integration, we’re getting whatever Google and Apple shovels at the auto industry.
Is Firefox still good ?

And if you somehow disagree with flushing it down if it is brown, I suppose I would like to hear about that as well.
