nytrixus,

Won’t solve the world’s problems but okay.

nytrixus,

Welp, that just means I have the right to discriminate against christian nationalists. I have a right to discriminate against republican zealots.

nytrixus,

I would say that Trump is like that 14 year old edgy idealist rebel who thinks the world is better realized under their haphazard of a vision. The one who wants to get all of their unqualified and equally inexperienced friends in positions of power who all think they’re better than officially qualified individuals with the experience.

That is him in a nutshell and we’ve seem him practice exactly that.

nytrixus,

Something he is failing hard to do, unless he grifts people.

Mexico is heading towards its most violent election ever, with 30 candidates murdered, 77 threatened and 11 kidnapped (english.elpais.com)

More than 170 attacks have been committed against politicians in the lead-up to the June elections. This violence has put campaigns under tension and is sowing doubts about governability in several regions. Specialists warn that the line between the Mexican state and organized crime is increasingly blurred...

nytrixus,

So this it to anyone out there who thinks this idea would work in America - no, this would be a TERRIBLE idea.

Because if we have people going all over the country just murdering politicians. We’d be seeing people murder those people that murdered those politicians because we have a strong team-based mentality here.

nytrixus,

Trump was impeached twice and he totally was rem-oh, he wasn’t? Then what was all the fluff about?

nytrixus,

It’s turned into the megaphone for the uneducated.

nytrixus,

I would’ve been so on the side of those who want government reform or little government around, if their solutions to the problems weren’t so batshit and attacking so many strawmen and inflicting the rights of others who aren’t them.

That is where the singular problem of this lies.

And orbiting around one soulless individual and an equally as soulless political party is absolutely not the way to go about it either.

nytrixus,

I see you’ve skipped the bits where I had said something about I don’t know, having known transgender people.

nytrixus,

A lot of the transgender people I’ve befriended and even dated. They all stick to the simple things.

They don’t really care about whatever the hell the pronouns have gone to. They just wanted to be the opposite sex. Some, wanted to be no gender. Others, were genderfluid. They weren’t pretentious by coming up with 50 different genders and 50 more ways to call them by.

And most of all, they just wanted to be accepted.

nytrixus,

Yeah but you know, if you want to be taken seriously, you need to be a little more realistic.

I’m having a hard time taking zie, zim, zis and all that seriously. Even if they have meanings, you’re really sounding like you’re treating your identity like it’s a title a child gives themselves to like it’s a flavor of the week.

nytrixus,

What those kinds of people are asking for is asking to be treated like they’re special.

For some of those people to be demanding equality, they sure have a poor grasp on the concept.

And I’m non-binary and I don’t ask for sprinkles and other special shit to make me feel so special just to “stand out” from the crowd.

concern trolling for voter apathy isn't radical it's boring (lemmy.cafe)

claim 1: “voting doesn’t change anything”Never forget the recent case of Kris Mayes, who refuses to uphold the Arizona supreme court’s sweeping ban of abortion. Kris Mayes only won her 2022 election by 280 votes. Voting changes things....

nytrixus,

“Voting doesn’t change anything” is a thinktank tactic of saying “Don’t vote unless you’re gonna vote who I discreetly like”

nytrixus,

Even in the back of their minds, the religious are unsure where they’re going. Because nobody came back from the dead to tell anyone what to expect.

Mankind has constructed the idea of Heaven, Hell, Rainbow Bridge, Valhalla, River Styx, Hades .etc as places we all think we’ll go when we die. But the truth of the matter is, is that we won’t know until we do die, though we can’t come back to tell anyone what’s there and what to expect.

It is all as superfluous as trying to tell someone there’s a being of omniscient and omnipotent design that controls the casualty of our actions.

nytrixus,

No, for that to work, you needed to be the only convincing, smart and devious conman that had influence on otherwise people with simple brains in ancient civilization. Ones who were too scared to even know what a sun eclipse was.

And look where we are now, it has done wonders.

nytrixus,

Capitalism be like “NOPE! NOT TODAY! NOT EVER! YOU WILL WORK UNTIL YOU DIE OR YOU WILL DIE WHILE SOMEONE ELSE DOES YOUR WORK!”

What celebrity has actually been a positive influence in your life?

Mine right now off the top of my head is Adam Savage, former co-host of Mythbusters years ago. I sometimes watch his Tested videos whenever he answers questions and he answers them very thoughtfully. A lot of his thoughts, takes and answers based on his experiences and point of view on life and career has helped me be more...

What would it take for you to stop using the internet or go minimalist on the usage?

I think for me, the internet would have to be totally eclipsed by the enshittification process, for me to revise how I use it and what for. I’ve been online for 28 years now and I am beginning to slow down more and more as time goes on. I used to have been a community seeker, an explorer and a very curious person....

nytrixus,

You’re not kidding, with Google. Like fucking hell, it feels like the last time Google was remotely useful, was 15 years ago. That’s a long ass time it’s been since Google actually gave you results. Now it just gives results, but no relevancy. The first 3 links are sponsors, the rest of the links, are just either broken or places you’ve been to already where say if you were looking for something for research, then that part of the page doesn’t have what you’re looking for.

And it’s like, Google is so large of a company, you’d think they’d be so big as to care about sorting out it’s search engine so things like terms and certain words don’t collide with eachother right? Like, you google ‘Skillet’ and what do you get? You get more about the band named Skillet, than you do the actual pan skillet. Imagine if you’re someone who wants to know about skillet pans and that’s what you get, it’d be frsutrating.

nytrixus,

I’m 50/50 in all walks of social media. I don’t talk/reply much, but I also don’t give people too much trouble. If an asshole wants to throw down, maybe I’ll respond out of spite to tell them off.

Opinion-based anything, instance/subreddit/community, tends to be very polarizing to be in. It’s always dog-eat-dog in those realms with people fighting to try and be the righteous one, disregarding the concept that opinions were never about being right or wrong.

nytrixus,

I don’t even watch Fox News, retard. But keep living life under baseless assumptions. Must be nice to sleep to, dipshit.

nytrixus,

Cool story.

nytrixus,

Gotta love now how so many people this has triggered, that they’re going around downvoting my comment history.

HA HA! YOU’RE NOT ON REDDIT, DUMBFUCKS! YOU CAN’T PREVENT ME FROM POSTING, WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU ARE HUH?!

Fucking morons.

nytrixus,

This is so Reddit it’s not even funny. Dude, go back to that filth of a place where people can’t even determine what Communism is, what Socialism is, what Right-Left winged politics even are anymore. Because all I’m seeing is just finger pointing and everyone going off on their own personal definitions of what’s what, not the universally agreed definitions of these things.

Hell, I barely even know these things too, but I’m not about to go around proving to people that I don’t know what they are by opening my big mouth.
