Breaking: French soldiers are being deployed to Ukraine with the purpose of training Ukrainian soldiers.

The Ukrainian Chief of Staff, General Oleksandr Syrskyi today announced he has signed the necessary paperwork to prepare for the first soldiers to arrive "soon".

This is what circumventing Russian sanctions looks like:

In spite of EU sanctions against Russia, The Kingdom of Denmark has doubled its exports of pelagic fish from the Faroe Islands to Russia.

This traffic is made possible because conveniently, The Faroe Islands is an autonomous part of Denmark which exists outside EU boundaries.

This is like if Hawaii suddenly doubled its exports to Russia, while the US was sanctioning the country.

Not a good look.

When Ukrainian drones attacked the Kushchevskaya airfield in Russia on May 19, multiple fighter jets were destroyed.

And here is the kicker: One of the destroyed Su-27 aircraft had a very particular color scheme, which is only used by the aerobatic demonstration group called the Russian Knigts. Their planes are normally only used at air shows.

This begs the question: Is Russia running so low on Su-27’s, that even their demonstration planes are now in use on the frontline?

Interesting.

A false story is spreading on Mastodon and other social media, claiming that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz believes, Ukraine cannot join NATO in the next 30 years.

I investigated this, and it is a lie. As anyone can see from this video, Scholz is talking about how Putin used a potential NATO membership as an excuse for attacking Ukraine, and Scholz is saying that AT THE TIME, he did not expect Ukraine to join NATO in the next 30 years.

For 6 days, the Kharkiv front has not moved an inch. Imagine losing approximately 1300 soldiers per day for that — for these two tiny bits of land reaching just seven kilometers into Ukraine.

What at an absolute fustercluck of an operation.

If just 100 US troops were stationed in the Kharkiv Oblast, would Biden then require, that these troops did not fire back at the Russian positions across the border who are currently bombing positions in Kharkiv?

Would Biden require, they just sat there, watching their own soldiers getting pummeled, dying one by one?

If your answer to that question is no, then ask yourself, why Biden would value the lives of Ukrainian soldiers any differently.

After yesterday's bombing of a large shopping center in Kharkiv, this is what we know:

Russia is believed to have been using two glide bombs for the attack, in which at least 11 people were killed, 16 more are missing, and 39 were injured.

The attack was carried out during opening hours on a Saturday, where most civilians are present.

The attack could likely have been prevented, had the US adminstation given Ukraine permission to shoot down enemy bomber aircraft near the border to Ukraine.

Ukraine signed a non-proliferation deal in 1994 and gave up their nuclear weapons… in exchange for the US one day telling them, when Russia fires at civilians in Kharkiv from across the border, Ukraine cannot fire back.
