Facebook bots invading forums where people are trying to have conversations with other people is a genuinely evil development.

The compilation Living Within Our Means: Volume 3 is out today, and I’ve got a track on it. Please visit the link below, take a listen and consider buying a copy (£4 or more). It has quite a nice mix of genres. Alternatively, you can buy individual tracks.

The track For Never Get was inspired by the Pearl Harbor attack in 1941; its title is a simple reorganization of the words ‘Never Forget’. It’s a mixture of electro-acoustic sounds, field recordings, transistor radio and synths. I hope you enjoy it!

This is a fundraising compilation to support the physical magazine MEANS. MEANS is a community-led culture magazine, seeking to provide a new outlet for artists and musicians worldwide. The project is dedicated to underground, experimental, and inter-medial arts and culture. See https://meansmagazine.com.

Founded by Daniel Alexander Hignell-Tully (The Quietus, Freq, Toneshift, difficultartandmusic).

World-first tooth-regrowing drug will be given to humans in September. “If successful, this therapy could be available to patients with any permanently missing teeth within six years.” https://newatlas.com/medical/tooth-regrowing-human-trial/

@kottke what?! Amazing.

So presumably, denture companies could go completely out of business.

This supposedly strengthens bones too, if I understand it correctly. So old people could for instance stop breaking their hips when they fall, cuz they’re no longer brittle. Right?

At the , I picked up the debut novel by Tommy Orange, an -based Native writer.

I couldn’t put it down for 100 pages. It’s like it was written for me: Oakland streets, bikes, Radiohead, MF Doom, the Coliseum, BART, ethnic food, family stuff.

Check it out if you have the chance.
